TCM Practitioner Gan Wei Long was exposed to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from a young age. During his secondary school years, he assisted his father, Senior TCM Practitioner Yan Wenlai, at Li De TCM Treatment Centre, gaining early exposure to clinical practice.

He later pursued formal TCM education at the Kuala Lumpur College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Shaanxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China (now Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine), where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2011.

During his internship in China, he rotated through several departments including Neurology, Gynecology, and Pediatrics, with particular focus on Pediatrics, Musculoskeletal Injury, and Acupuncture & Tuina. Under the guidance of his professors, he was encouraged to study classical texts such as the Shang Han Lun, emphasizing the importance of understanding Yin-Yang balance in clinical treatment.

After returning to Malaysia, TCM Prac. Gan continued clinical practice and began serving as a resident practitioner at a private TCM institution in Selangor in 2012.

He specializes in treating cervical spine disorders, postural problems, indigestion, gastric-related palpitations, and unexplained pain conditions. His clinical approach combines Classical Formula (Jingfang) herbal therapy, acupuncture, and Tuina techniques, emphasizing pattern differentiation and effective clinical outcomes.
