Practitioner Wong Chun Woon comes from a family with a background in TCM. He began learning TCM theory and clinical practice from his father at a young age, and has accumulated approximately 8–9 years of relevant experience. He specializes in integrating acupuncture, tuina (therapeutic massage with acupressure), and bone-setting techniques to help improve various physical discomforts and functional conditions.
In acupuncture treatment, Prac. Wong tailors each session according to the patient’s constitution and presenting symptoms. By combining different acupuncture techniques, he applies treatment for meridian regulation as well as internal conditions. He also has practical clinical experience in stroke management and post-stroke recovery, including rehabilitation after the acute phase.
For tuina and acupressure therapy, he focuses on relieving muscle tension, promoting the circulation of qi and blood, and regulating the meridians and organ functions, allowing the body to gradually return to a more balanced and comfortable state.
Prior to bone-setting treatment, a comprehensive assessment is conducted. Gentle adjustments are then applied to address postural issues such as scoliosis, anterior pelvic tilt or misalignment, and rounded shoulders or kyphosis, with an emphasis on safety and gradual progression.
Prac. Wong has undergone clinical observation and training at the Acupuncture & Tuina Department, Rehabilitation Department, and Endocrinology Department of HeiLongJiang University of Chinese Medicine. He values clear communication with patients, careful observation, and post-treatment follow-up, striving to ensure patients feel reassured, understood, and well cared for throughout their treatment journey.
