Main Problem: Left wrist sprain and pain for 1 week.

I learned from Ms.Toh that the cause this time, she accidentally sprained her wrist when she returned from a work trip while carrying the luggage. After observing at home for a week, her wrist still hurts, she can’t lift heavy objects, and her wrist is sore when moving, so she came for treatment.
【Diagnosis】

During the examination of Ms.Toh’s wrist tenderness, it would be painful to rotate the wrist inward.
When I checked her elbow together, I found tenderness on the inside of the elbow, so I diagnosed an injury to the wrist and elbow joint, and the muscles nearby were also very tight.
Her pain was feel like pulling pain, and her range of motion was also limited. She felt uncomfortable if she exerted effort to hold things.
After preliminary examination and diagnosis, Ms.Toh was invited to the treatment room and lie down on the treatment bed for treatment.
【Treatment】
During the treatment, tuina therapy are used to unclog the muscle groups near the wrist and elbow to relax the tense muscles, and then combined with acupuncture and heating light to promote the blood circulation of the wrist and elbow joints and the repair of joint ligaments.

After three days of rest,Ms.Toh said that she has improved a lot, and her wrist movements are relatively smooth, but sometimes she still feels soreness in wrist movements and a little tightness in her elbows.Once again, the muscles and fascia near the wrist and elbow were loosened by tuina therapy. After the treatment, Ms.Toh felt that her soreness was relieved a lot.
Since the wrist and elbow have not fully recovered, I will let you continue to take traditional Chinese medicine and topical ointment and observe for another 3 days.
Revisit: July 13, 2022
After 4 days, Ms.Toh came back again for follow-up.
After one week of treatment, Ms.Toh said that the range of motion and symptoms of the wrist and elbow have been relieved a lot, there is basically no pain, and even the gastrointestinal function has been improved.
This follow-up visit is combined with tuina therapy to consolidate the treatment effect of the wrist and elbow and to test whether there is any discomfort when the wrist and elbow are moving.

【How to deal with wrist sprain? 】
