Unripen wheat grains are immature wheat grains. Dried and thin in shape, which floated in the water. They taste sweet and cold. They help in comforting the mind and calming down, besides alleviating the heaty and stopping the heavy sweat symptoms.
Red dates helping in tonifying the spleen, nourishing blood and calming human minds, as well as strengthening the functionality of the stomach and spleen. The core digestive system builds up by the stomach and spleen which contribute as the supplier for the blood in the veins and arteries. When supplier for the blood is sufficient, the heaty in the body will reduce much. Hence, this decoction always used by TCM to mitigate the “heated organ.”
Licorice enables reducing heaty inside the body and perform detoxification. Besides, licorice enables quenching the fire of the heart and stomach as well. When the fire of the heart quenched, the heaty inside the stomach reduced too hence enable to strengthen the functionality of stomach, indirectly improved the functionality of the digestion system.
In TCM, when we say, “heated organ”, it means one get mad easily or feel crying without concrete reasons. The symptoms always happen among women around ages of 50 years old who are encountering menopausal transition.
Among the five internal organs, liver is having a close relationship with our emotions. Normal angry emotion could release the flow of energy (“Qi”) inside the liver. However, if the angry emotion is exploded excessively and uncontrol, it is considered as morbid state. The factor of deficiency of blood inside the liver causing the flow of energy (“Qi”) tensed up. In this situation, we prescribe herbal that enables replenishment of blood inside the liver so that it helps to reduce the tension of the flow of energy (“Qi”) inside the liver and relieve the angry emotion.
