In the month of May and June, the weather temperature has been increasing highly, the process of dehydration has been occurring in the body, many people are feeling low appetite and reluctant to take much food.

Light diet (less oily diet) during the hot weather days.
If we are taking oily food during the hot weather days, the process of digestive system lower down, hence reducing the appetite.
We encourage people to take light food or drinks to reduce heats in the body and quench the thirst, as well as stimulate the appetite.
Light food such as: green bean porridge, mint leaves porridge, fresh vegetables, fruit tea, edible burdock tea, dandelion tea, chrysanthemum tea.

Maintain good diet habits.
Modern days lifestyle has always been a hectic one, regardless daily routine life or studies or works, and we tend to live our lives hastily. Hence, I would advise everyone to adjust our diet habits, try to foster the concerns of regular diet, eat in a timing manner and appropriate volume amount of food. If we wish to nurture a good digestive system, we must start from the regular diet habits. If we determine to eat at a regular time, during the periodic hours like breakfast or lunch or dinner hours, our stomach will release the fluid to digest the food and help to strengthen the process of digestion and absorption of food.

By designing and creating colourful and delicate food, it triggers the reaction in the stomach called conditioned reflex, where the fluid released in the stomach will increase the appetite. We try to make a multi-mixed menu because the repeated old diet menu in daily routine will lower our appetite. Sour food helps to promote the appetite.
Occasionally in our diet we could take the sour taste food such as dried tangerine peel, dried plum, hawthorn, vinegar-mixed food, lemon, passion fruits, pineapple etc. If it happened someone has the gastritis issue, then eating this sour taste food could be reduced.

Cooking cuisine for elderly people.
For the cooking culinary for elderly people, we need well worth heeding on the hardness or soften food. Too hard is not suitable for elderly people. During the hot weather, elderly people is not advisable to take cold rice or vegetable as it caused cooling in the stomach and reduce the desire to eat.

For each meal, we should ensure we eat our own volume amount of food and not overeat. We do not keep overnight dish in the fridge as it will breed the bacteria colony. As a result, we get diarrhea easily. It is our responsible to ensure the security safety of the food.
Pay attention while having meal and not advisable to play handphone and think much during the meal.
Cultivate a pleasure mind during the meal improve the process of digestion and absorption of food.

Eat food that calm down the emotion like banana, watermelon, tangerine, millet etc.Banana contains 5-hydroxytryptamine which help preventing inflammation of stomach, hence alleviate the invasion of stomach acid against the stomach outer membrane.
Watermelon contains more than 90% of water to replenish dehydration happening during the sunny days. Fat is much less in watermelon. Vitamin A found in watermelon. Variety of mineral and natural sugars make it taste sweet. Diabetic patient and pregnant women may take note to consume watermelon in small amount in moderation.
Tangerine contains vitamin C, help relaxing the mind. It also contains carotene, alpha-hydroxy acid which serve as antioxidant. Millet contains protein, vitamin, and mineral such as calcium, phosphorus, iron, manganese, and zinc. Millet strengthens the digestive system and improve function of kidney, helps mitigate the symptoms such as heaty stomach, nausea and vomit, thirst, and diarrhea.

Meal inhibition rules:
Avoid over saturated, eat mild amount in moderation which is about 70% of a full stomach.
What does it mean by 70% of a full stomach?
Seventy percent of a full stomach provided the necessary nutrition to the body.
If we consume food by 70% of a full stomach, we will not feel hungry, not tend to be gaining weight too. We should not overeat or taking food excessively.
Due to blood circulation highly congested on the digestive system when one eats excessively, hence reduce the blood circulation flow in the upper part like our brain.
Avoid daily menu diet varies too much.
In the hot weather environment, the bacteria breed rapidly inside the food. If we have a sensitive stomach, it will always tend to have stomach issue due to the food variety such as we are intaking the rarely seen food, or imported food, which we seldom eat in the daily meals.
